How many peds residency interviews do you plan on going on?

I am wondering if 7/8 interviews are enough to match. Does everybody plan on interviewing at their current med school?

You should definitely interview at your own med school. It's just silly to do otherwise. I'm planning on around 9ish

I actually did not apply to my home program, as we don't have a children's hospital and have a fairly weak pediatrics residency program overall. Because of that, I am planning on doing between 11-12 interviews.
