I'm sure it varies from person to person but how many practice tests are generally recommended before taking the actual DAT? Before any studying I took 2 Kaplan tests and got a 20 (using a calculator for QR) and 18 (no calculator for QR). I am following an 8 week study plan and just finished the 4th week so I took the 2007 ADA practice test and scored a 25 (PAT, RC and QR about the same, sciences all drastically improved). I'm not sure how indicative that is but I'm almost considering taking the test earlier. Probably not though.
I was originally planning on taking 3 more practice tests but obviously would rather not lol. I figure if I do I will buy Topscore since it seems people say the difficulty is pretty similar, and I'm not aware of any other free practice tests out there (if anyone knows of some can you let me know). I have a 7-day trial for Achiever which I thought had full practice tests but it turns out it's just a 12 question demo :\
Any thoughts/suggestions are appreciated.
