How many pre dental SDN'ers?

Is there any guess or approximation as to how much of the pre dental population uses SDN?

Finally...a good question...when I went to interview at Temple out of the 12-13 of us...3-4 knew what SDN was. It seems most applicants have never heard of it...I only joined in Jan 2004 when a classmate of mine told me about it (ever since I have been hooked). Anyway, SDN is a great source, but you have to be able to sift through the BS and lame posts (ie anything written by Ianwright or his alter ego naithghirw) to find the good stuff. Also, I try to make sure to wait to post until I exhaust other resources. In any case, I know its a little off topic...but about numbers...I think SDN is a pretty well kept secret.

Got in...going to IU..its closer to Chicago. Thats really the only reason I am not going to Temple...both schools are pretty comparable. BTW, chubbybaby has no right to judge Temple seeing that she hasnt even applied yet. Great DAT and GPA but the girl is just about to apply. Anyway, I have nothing but good things to say about Temple and it is an excellent school. If my family lived on the east coast, chances are I would go there. My dad (dentist) knows many dentists and specialists who attended Temple and he was pushing hard for me to go there...but in the end it came down to location.

Dude we shouldn’t be thinking this way. This forum is an extremely useful tool to have and we should do everything to help each other out even the people who have not heard of this place.

I found SDN about half year, I am addicted to it, 😀 it is great source for pre-dental student and most people are very nice here. Keep it up~ 👍

Being close to home is important. I'm almost 3000 miles from home. Best of luck to you in your future career. 👍
