Seriously, it depends. It really is more like a conversation than a question-by-question interrogation. Plan too hard for it and you'll fail. No joke, just relax.

The last thing on someone's mind while they interview is to think about counting the questions. No one can really tell you, and each interview is different. That said, check the interview feedback to get an idea about what types of questions they'll ask you. I agree, it was highly conversational, and if you over-prepare it may make it weird.

i will tell u it depends but as for me...the woman just said ..u know i read this in ur app..tell me a lil more about that...and so i did a bit of talking..and hten we went into a nice convo..then she said okay well i have to at least ask you one quest from this sheet...so she asked me one real interview ques and i think that was it

Why does it matter how many they ask? I don't see how knowing that would help you in any way anyways...

the nyu interview was probably the one i've been too and they only asked me 1 question. I was kind of stumped so she helped me with it also. 😀

don't mean to hijack this post but since i've got all the nyu interviewees in one room, do you know how many instate students they take per number of interviews they grant?
