Just curious as to what other people are doing out there in a retail setting.

I work alone and would say my week averages out to about 230-250 a day. I usually have a good amount of help. (4 techs spread through out a 13 hour day)

Averaging about 600 per day right now. Usually that's with 3 pharmacists and 5-6 techs throughout the day (except for weekends). One day a week we don't get a mid-shift pharmacist. I hate those days.

I'll have to ask the pharmacist at my IPPE rotation right now. I'm in an LTC pharmacy. They must be verifying tons based on the throughput they've got.

the pharmacists i work with do full days and verify about 250 m-f and 120 Sat/Sun. We're not as fortunate because its usually 1 tech/1 pharmacists except from 3-5 where the morning and evening tech overlap. On weekends, only one tech works an all day shift but we close at 6.

At my normal non-24 hour store, we do about 300 per day. That's with 2 pharmacists with an hour of overlap. When I work at the 24 hour store, it's close to 700 per day with 3 pharmacists during the day and 1 overnight pharmacist. Sometimes I work at a non-24 hour store that does about 450 per day with the 2 pharmacist schedule.

Since Walgreens has cut tech hours, every store is a little hectic right now.

I work weekends only, and in my 7,5 hours I verify about 60-120 scripts depending on how busy it is (and Sunday mornings are of course on the slow side). Me and my tech, plus overlap with the pharmacist for an hour, sometimes techs overlap too, for an hour, if we expect a busier day.

I'm at a mail order pharmacy right now and we're doing about 120,000 scripts per day! Insane, huh?
