How many schools are you paying a deposit to?

Is 3 too little or too many? How about 5? I'm afraid I won't be able to make a decision until the last minute. Also afraid if I fail/cant enroll in some prereqs that some schools require but others do not.

Just 1 cuz I already made the decision. But I chose my school mostly based on location. I would try to narrow it down to 2 schools , given that it is plenty of money. Good luck.

probably. It's 100k cheaper. But getting off of the In state waitlist at marquette is almost impossible, so I am already prepared mentally to pay all that dent back after graduation. 😉.

I definitely think 3-5 is way too many. That is an extraordinary amount of money to spend due to being indecisive. I think even 2 is too many given that you have an entire month to decide. Of course this is just my two cents, as I had an easy decision to make and will only be paying 1 deposit. Also, you've already made it this far, so I don't think failing pre-reqs will be a problem! 🙂 Just weight your pros and cons which usually comes down to less money/closer location vs. a more "impressive" private school and decide what you value more than the other! At least boil it down to 2 before January rolls around.

You should really narrow it down. I didn't want that indecision weighing on me for another few months so I'm putting a deposit on one. Plus it's polite to the schools so they can find new students to fill those spots/other students who have no acceptances can get a spot. At least try to get to 2. a pro/con list helps a lot. or flip a coin and see which one you hope for more! 😉

If you have the money, put as many as you need to put. You'll have to withdraw eventually and the spot will still go to someone.

Fail the prereqs? haha hopefully thats not possible for someone who got into 5 dental schools...But I do understand the struggle that post-acceptance is to caring about undergrad haha.I would never throw money away making deposits that I know I will lose. That's just me. Make the decision now or later...might as well do it now.

For this one class, it definitely is at my school 🙂

But yeah, I think I'll narrow it down to 2. Worst worst case scenario 3

Maybe I'm missing something, but why would anyone do more than 1? If you haven't figured out which school you want to attend by now, what are you expecting to sway you in the next 2 months? Seems like a major waste of money, especially if any of those deposits are to private schools.
