Hey guys,

I'll try to make this brief. I'm having some trouble narrowing down a list of schools to apply to this cycle and would appreciate any and all advice.

stats:

cGPA: 3.8
sGPA: ~3.8
DAT: 23 AA, 19 PAT, 21 TS

shadowing: 150 hrs
volunteering: around the same
work experience: health aid/caregiver

Currently, I'm thinking about applying to:

UMich (in-state)
UDM (in-state)
Case Western (OOS)
OSU (OOS)
Marquette (OOS)
UK (OOS)
Louisville (OOS)
LECOM (OOS)
Nova (OOS)
University of Colorado (OOS)

Going to school in state (Umich or UDM) is the preferred option, but, if not, I am aiming to apply to OOS schools that have reasonable tuition and are OOS-friendly. If anyone more familiar with the process could take a look at my list and suggest adding new schools/taking some off that'd be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You have some solid score here. PAT could be better, but it's not bad.

That said, I think you should apply to 12-15 schools. Out of these, 80% of your schools should be easy and reach schools (where you can easily/reasonably get accepted). Then the rest of the 20% of your schools should be stretch schools.

I think some of your stretch schools could be UMich, UCLA or UCSF and Penn.
