I'm trying to decide whether to spend $85 applying to Brown...their website talked and talked about how for the first time in 20 yrs they are allowing traditional non-preadmit, non-postbacc students in...they didn't say how many slots were available, though.....I know 15 spots are offered through the Brown-Dartmouth program....if anyone knows how many slots are open for non-Brown-DMS students, non-PLME, and non-postbacc students, let me know....THANKS!!!

It says that approx 50% will NOT be thru their PLME program...and somewhere else i read that the number last year was..

Q. What percentage of students are admitted through the non-PLME routes?
A. Thirty-seven percent of the class entering in Fall 2003 were non-PLME students.

guys!!!!

I don't think i'm going to complete the secondary! I haven't taken Biochemistry or Stats and to take them here in Boston will run me about about $1000 and that is way more than i can afford right now...not only that..but spending all that just for one app.. i think i might just throw my towel in on this one..

~LR~ 😕

I'm still kinda wondering how man spots there are out of the 37%.....63% goes to PLME, and the other 37% includes 1) their post-bacc people, and 2) the 15 people in the Brown-Dartmouth program....for some reason I keep thinking it's 30 spots for us traditional students....I guess I'll go ahead and apply (after not getting ahold of their admissions ofc. all day)....Brown seems to be a good "fallback-ivy" and I remember meeting a really hot girl that was in the PLME program- I wonder if it's o.k. to say that's the reason you want to go there- b/c you once met a hot girl at a coffee shop in missouri who goes there!
