i received a letter telling me to start collecting teeth for some labs but it didn't say how many we needed. Can anyone tell me approximately how many do we need? thanks!
BUT...they need to be perfect...no restorations, decay, etc. So, its probably best that you sift through the teeth you received to make sure they are what you need.

thats true, fortunately the oral surgeon i went to had a bunch of great teeth, probably because most of his patients needed extractions for dentures. also, my school said even get the decayed and restorative ones because we will need those to study later also. so i probably have 145 good ones and 5 decay ones. but oral surgeons are the best bet especially for molars and premolars and they have some central and laterals. then i also had a pediatric dentist who will get me a lot of permanent bicuspids he said. so good luck.
The more the better. That way you can pick the best ones for your assignments, and give the lesser ones to your classmates who were too lazy to collect any to use.
