How many times do you go over the destroyer before the DAT?

Last year before I took the DAT, I went through the destroyer ONCE and I got 17, 17, 18 and 19, which was absolutely terrible.

I also have the ACS GC and OC, the questions are tough. It's about the same difficulty as destroyer except it presents the problems differently. It has more than 300 problems each. So now I have about 1000 questions (from destroyer and ACS) to do in 35 days other than Bio, Math and PAT.

I'm sure going over all the destroyer questions once will not be enough this time. Just wondering how many times and how did you review the questions and answers? Thanks guys!

what's ACS?
and I don't know if it matters how many times you go over it. If you could understand it at once and i think once would've been enough.

I think how many times you go over it is dependent upon how much you know/remember. I used the ACS O chem guide for my class and I though it was great. As far as me personally I went over destroyer once in all subjects but Math. I went over Math twice because that is what I felt I was most deficient in. Whatever you do, try to track which areas you need the most help in and study those hard. Other than that it's up to your own gut feeling.

For joonkimdds; ACS is the acronym for the American Chemical Society. They offer standardized tests in the Chemistries for Universities that choose to use their tests. I thought the ACS study booklet was great.

look up the australian biology olympiad multiple choice exams....

university of toronto also has biology olympiad type exams...

The problems are difficult, but they give you lot's of fresh questions to work with, and there are plenty of questions that require extrapolation.

There is also a sample biology gre from ETS website.

👍Thanks.

Is it the one that has 50 MC questions? I can't find the answers?!

I am taking my DAT on wed.

I went over destroyer OC x 3, GC x 3, Bio x 2, QR x 1, and I have math destroyer, and have done all of the exams in that once... i plan on reviewing some questions i circled after going through the GC OC and BIO as well as reviewing the math problems i had trouble with.

...on my 15 min break from topscore 3 right now

sounds good. Could you post your topscore 3 scores? thx!

I went through the whole thing ONCE, but I marked the questions I got wrong or didn't understand and went over them either one or two more times.

Probably the best plan would be to go through the whole thing twice, mark the ones you got wrong or don't understand, and go through those again one or two more times.
