when will change actually happen, instead of talking about it.
It is simply hilarious, listening again and again, about reforms in Health Care, pertinent to Primary Care docs, and Primary Care in general.
However, there are going to be very very few Primary Care docs to go along with these reforms.
My question is, who cares about these so - called efforts when they never result in increased payment to Primary Care?
I say, either come up with results, or stop talking about things that do not occur.
Incentives have already failed miserably
Show the money or shuttup is what I say.
I, for one, am and sick and tired of empty promises.
It is a not so well known fact that Health Care legislation is run by Specialists. Why in world would they care about the state of Primary Care? They never have, and probably never will in my opinion.
The payment system in the Health Care system rewards Specialists, and Specialists only for procedures.
This so called bonus system and incentive system has already failed miserably. Most Physicians never even saw a dime of that so called bonus.

no not like that. However, I wish that the debate, and knowhow of what is going on were made public, and easily accessible.
Hopefully things change, albeit I am not very optimistic in the very near future.
Like I stated before, Specialists run Health Care, not Primary Care docs. Again I reiterate this abominable and unfortunate fact, because it is extremely significant.
As long as Specialists are running health care, reforms will continue to favor procedural aspects of Medicine.
Primary Care has been in shambles for a very very long time, and this must be corrected.
However, let us not forget that Specialists continue to run health care, so reforms won't be coming any time in the near future.
Health Care will continue to be all about making money off of countless procedures, that could have been prevented with adequate primary care.
This "dog chasing its tail" scenario in Health Care just needs more time to play itself out I suppose.
All I hear is talk, and no reforms, for countless ages. The master key is held by the Specialist, this is why.
