how many years are ndbe scores valid?

hello evrybody,
i am new to this forum, i hope somebody can answer my question
i just wanted to know for how many years are the ndbe scores valid if i wish to apply for the adv. standing program for foreign dentists.....
would it be ok to give my part1/2 exams this year but apply for adv. standing after sometime maybe2-3 years......or shud i wait when i am ready to apply and then study for national boards.....

what are ur suggestions, plz let me know
