how much did u write for loyola secondary?

im annoyed by their app. and dont wanna write all that much for each essay, but the info sheet says ~25 lines (which corresponds to 2000 characters) for 6 essays. how much did u write?

I wrote about 20-25 for each one. Keep in mind that when you click the "done" button, or whatever it is, it shows you a preview of what you wrote, and the lines on the preview are longer than the lines in the original box you type stuff in to....I called and they said it's 25 lines on the preview, so you can go up to like 30+ lines in the box....i hope that made sense

i didn't really take to heart the "25 lines." since most of the essays overlapped with uchicago (2400 characters) and rush (2000 characters), i just copied them right in. all my words fit, so i went with it. i'm sure they are flexible. if it gets too long, the reader will lose interest anyways...

they arent that bad, i remember last year i already did essays pretty similar to the questions loyola had and just cut and paste and made some minor adjustments.

Your essay topics don't need to be earth shattering. Just pick a problem that you worked on and say something about it. Last year I wrote about how I struggled with memorization and what I did to get better at it.

I wrote 20-25 lines for all of them. My personal problem was putting myself through college. Another problem that I could have written about but didn't was adjusting to a big university. I started a semester late and it was harder to find a support group of friends/homework buddies. Hmm...what else...you could talk about a hard class and how you worked to get an A. Like someone else said, it doesn't have to be earth shattering.

Loyola's was my favorite secondary. It really made me think about the experiences that I've gone through.

I wrote about how I got dumped by a girl I was planning on marrying, and about how I made the decision to stop being depressed and move on. To each their own (my "essay" was more story like, because I'm more comfortable writing in that format).

Just a quick note, Loyola really pays attention to essays - at least they did in my interview. If you get an interview, reread your essays so that you can remind yourself what you wrote.

This is a hard question for me, because I've never done research, nor do I particularly enjoy research. As for independent scholastic work and/or self-education....??? Do they mean like how I taught myself guitar? The "school of life"?? Or is independent scholastic work stuff like classes taken for pure enjoyment? This question really bothers me. All the others are done, this is the last one for me to answer.

I wrote about one area of concentration that I am doing for my international studies major. I figure I've studied/researched a great deal about terrorism and diamond industry in West Africa so I elaborated on that.
