hello, i am going to take my DAT's on august 8th, which gives me about 7 weeks from today. i started the kaplan course a couple weeks ago, and i am wondering if kaplan is enough to prepare me for the real test?

how many weeks or months did it take you all to prepare for the DATs? do most people take the DATs only once?

i just finished taking orgo and bio this past school year, so these subjects are pretty fresh in my head. i have a lot of trouble concentrating in reading comp!!

any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

Just studying Kaplan will be a big mistake. Crack DAT PAT for the PAT, definitely get TOPSCORE for some more practice tests and I would recommend DAT Destroyer, I didnt use it but Ive heard a lot of good things about it. If I had to re-do it over again I would have gotten it. I would determine how much you will study reading comp based off of your first 2 reading comp practice test scores. If you start out not doing so well, I would definitely practice and study. If you get two pretty decent scores, I wouldnt study it as much. I scored a 19 the very first time I did it, so I didnt really focus on it much until the last two weeks. Good Luck.
