So I need to ask my parents for some serious dough regarding the application fee's and DAT's and everything


I'm applying to about 15 schools, which are about 65 bucks a pop right?

$200 for the DAT

I already have kaplan, i need topscore (i got it last yr but i cant find it and i think the tests r already the same)


so im guessing something like 1800??? am i right here? plz help

Depending on the number of interviews you get. If the schools that you are applying are drivable, you might save some money.

But, let's say if you get 5 interviews and you have to use plane for that, it would cost like around 1000 bucks for just interviews...

For AADSAS:
227 for first school + 72 for each additional school = 1235

Then you have each school's application fee which can range from what I've seen from $35 - $85 each...

So, you're probably fairly close with your estimate of $1800 for just the application.

Other associated costs would be: interfolio, fees to send transcripts, postage to send materials to schools, etc

I think I figured it out to be around $150 per school...for AADSAS, DAT scores and secondary app fees. This was last app cycle...

you have to pay 2 fees. one to the application center(AADSAS) and one to the school.

you probably have to pay on avg a little over $100 in total.

applying is pretty expensive.

prepare to spend a lot of dough if you go to multiple interviews

So that's $227 + 14x72 = 1235 + DAT (200) = 1435 for the AADSAS application.

Consider Secondaries + dat's price is little bit more than 200 i believe.

Just ask your parents for $4k.

yeah application fee is the secondary fee's... the address is written on the link YOU posted... for the schools that you have applied you just mail them check along with what ever they want...

Ugh this is gonna take forever...individually mailing out all that stuff to 15 schools. Oh god.

why dont you just trim the number of schools you are applying to? like to 10...that would simplify things and save you tons of money.....your state school and a few private schools should be your "safety schools" .....and then apply to only a few others you would consider attending given cost and location.

it adds up fast!

I applied to 15 schools. Each school's secondary is a different price, but mine totaled $2,115. This included AADSAS, secondary, and DAT prices.
