How much do we need to know the Step 1 equations or material for CK?

For everyone who's taken the exam,
-Besides the Biostats ones, do we need to review the equations from Step 1 (say, the renal, cardio, and pharmacology ones at the back of FA for Step 1)? ---Also, is there any utility to reviewing the path, physio, biochem or micro in FA for Step 1?
-Basically, about how many questions on the exam out of ~350 total are Step 1 type questions that are NOT covered in the CK review books like SUTM, MTB, Secrets, B&W, or UW? I know this was asked at least once before, but I was wondering if I should review FA for Step 1 in the process of reviewing for my CK in 2.5 wks?

Thanks so much for your help!

Roughly ten, fifteen questions on my step two that seemed more to belong in Step 1.

That being said, doesn't really seem high yield to be fretting over all that material again in fear of getting, like me, some agar questions or obscure MOA of drug.

I scored >250 on both, FWIW. (hate not knowing if the guy giving advice is a *******)

in particular, all your biostats, A-a gradient, I had a winter's formula question, basically anything in step 2 CK review books will get you 95% of those q's.

Thanks for your responses!...so along the same lines would you say that listening to Goljan Step 1 Audio would be low-yield? What about his Step 2 Audio, or the Kaplan Step 2 videos?

Thank you

Totally agree with above. I don't recall seeing any equations that weren't covered in world.

I will just reiterate the general consensus that uworld is the best study aid for step 2.

Acid base and biostats equations. Goljan would be pretty low yield and a general waste of a week. Follow the Step II trifecta and you'll be fine.

The few biochem questions you get will be very clinically oriented (like Nieman-Pick v Gaucher's and the glycogen storage diseases) and will be covered by world. You're not going to get name the amino acid questions.
