How Much Do You REALLY Love It?

that's about 2x as much as a pharmacist nowadays can make in a lifetime. 🙂

You could always use that money to open up your own research facility 🙂

I would definately continue the path I've been going.

But I wouldn't take a part time job. :meanie:

Still would continue. I would be bored stiff if I was stuck at home with a lot of money. Like the previous post, I wouldn't have to get a part time job or worry about where my next meal is coming from.

Actually, a very large percentage of lottery winners wind up losing it all, either by making poor investment choices, squandering it on foolish purchases, or falling victim to relatives/litigation/etc. ...it's always good to have a back-up plan, so I would definitely finish out the next 2 years.

I would stay in school. I've been really bored for the last two weeks - no school and no work. No matter how much money I had, I would still have to work to keep from going crazy.

aye. bored at home with too much money = possible michael jackson/paris hilton situation

I enjoy things that are a mental challenge so I would stay in school

edit: although I would buy a horse and my very own LUXURY Auburn trailer haha. And the lots around it so i would be queen of the trailer park

As sad as it may sound, I would probably become a life-long student. I would love to go to school and learn without stressing over grades.

That will only be like 17 bucks after taxes, so I'd probably stay where I am. 😀

Seriously, I really like going to school, so I would still go to pharmacy school, but I could pay off my car, my house, my bills and my schooling, and not have any of those stresses in my life. Then I could give some money to my parents so they dont have to get jobs after my dad retires. I could travel and enjoy myself over the summer without worrying about working. Then I could set up a scholarship fund in my name at the school so I could be memorialized forever. 🙄

I agree with everyone, I would still go to pharmacy school. I would pay off my house, get a new car and buy a house for my parents. I would go nuts just being at home not working, that why I have job now. But I wouldnt work full-time after school, I would work part-time and volunteer somewhere.

i would finish up school but one thing that you have to take into consideration... while it may not be that much money after taxes etc.... people will still think "they won the lottery"
you really would have to cover your butt and worry about malpractice or even people running out in front of your car trying to get hit.

Totally agree, I'd still go but the stress would be off and I think it'd be more enjoyable.

If I won the lottery I would take like 95% of the money and immediately put it in some sort of very safe savings that could return 5-7%. If you had hit like a 20-30 mil jackpot if you could just wait a couple years with it in that type of savings you could get so much extra money. In the mean time play around with the 5% you took for spending. Well I don't play the lotto but its fun to think about. PS- do you ever see middle to upper class people ever win this thing???

I think less middle and upper class people play the lottery. That is how they managed to accumulate enough money to be considered in those classes.

a fool and his money are soon parted...

So true. I see poor people spending $20 per week on lotto tickets. They'd be better off saving it.

like some people here, i would get my pharmD and got to grad school to get a phD in something interesting... and on weekends I would fly 1st class to some exotic places!

I too would stay on track, but I would make my life a lot more comfortable (ie hiring a maid, a cook, a personal trainer etc..
