Just curious...
I found a really great lab at NIH and I've commited a year to doing research on a pre-doctoral IRTA fellowship. I'm doing the research because I'm actually interested in it but I've been wondering how much research at NIH help out with competitiveness for residency applications (I'm interested in head and neck surgery)? Granted, it's not the Howard Hughes, but it's still at NIH.
Any thoughts?
