How much does # years experience affect salary offer?

Do new grads out of residency typically start lower than applicants with a few years of experience under their belts?

Only if they're stupid. Which most people are. One of the reasons why most people don't last long in their first job is because they get abused.

Government jobs are the most seniority based and least performance based. In PP, income can grow over time as you stop taking insurance and move towards cash only patients. Other than that, a green horn can charge by the hour as much as anyone. Some famous psychiatrists clearly charge more by the hour, but this is more marketing that real talent.

Yes, stimulant and benzo mills tend to market themselves. The word of mouth campaign is cheap and effective. :nono:
