how much full-time prep just before step 1?

international student, aiming for December Step 1. Doing psychiatry in November and December with light workload.

Two qs, please:
Will 1 week holiday to do last minute intensive preparation be enough?
Should I take the week holiday sooner, not just before the exam?

Hi,
I am currently studying in the UK and after a month of solid revision I had to give up because I started my clinical placements.
In my opinion (although I haven't given the exam yet) you need 2 months full time revision, because a lot of the stuff covered in the Step 1 is not covered in some international unis.
I might be wrong though, so see what the other guys say.
