How much of actual "slides" do we need to know?

Histopathology slides have been my biggest nightmare so far. How much of these do we need to know for the step 1, and in what detail? Do we have to actually identify the tissue apart from identifying the pathognomic body?

Would Pathoma videos and UWorld cover this adequately or does one need to spend time reviewing more in-depth material?

Thanks.

I dont think you need anything not in Pathoma/UWorld. I think I had something about Papillary CA of the Thyroid, but otherwise histology on Step 1 is usually straightforward. Clear Cell CA of the Kidneys, Auer Rods, Psammomma bodies. Basically the highlights of histology.

Thanks Ronin. That's a relief.
