How much of an advantage to have a minor

Does it help you a lot with pharmacy school acceptance?

The one place I think it would help most is if you have an non-trad major. If you major in Economics, a bio or chem minor would probably look good in terms of showing your aptitude in the sciences. Other than that, if you major in a science (bio, chem, health sciences, etc), a minor probably won't do that much for you.

It's not a big factor... but if your major is non-science, or on the other hand, your major is science but your minor is something potentially useful to your future practice - it's something to bring up during interview and discuss, and score some extra points that way. On paper, it is a very minor advantage, if any, if you are already a good candidate. If you aren't a very strong candidate - well, any little bit helps. 🙂
