It seems like a lot of people are studying about 12-14 hrs/day for several months to pull out great scores. How does everyone find time if most dental schools give only a few weeks off to study for part 1? I'm a bit concerned because one of the faculty members told me we wouldn't get any time off but just a lighter course load for ~1 month. Can any of you that are going through/went through all this shed some light and give any advice on study tips given these circumstances?

Hi, you shouldn't worry. Most people that are studying for a couple of months are foreign trained dentists who graduated a while back and so they are out of school. Because you are a student, you are in a great situation because everything is still fresh in your memory. So, good luck with your preparation!
