How much time do u have for each section on the pcat?

What is some good website for texas pharmacy school and their pre -req? or all schools for that matter?

:scared:How many hours should i shadow a pharmacist and how do i go about doing that?

Hey there,

The search function would help you a lot here... but since you posted:

1. The PCAT is 240 questions and has 2 writing segments, and is 4 hours total in length. IIRC, Reading, Writing and Bio was 30 minutes, reading was 50m, Quant. [math] was 40m.

2. Sticky, please...

3. As many hours as you can is the correct answer there. And how you go about it, please see a thread here on the first page entitled "full time working and volunteering possible? how?" I think the title is. Go forth and use the knowledge already expounded by our wonderful conclave.

Most of your questions can be answered by visiting the pcat webpage and checking it out there. Also visit the pharmcas pages and you can check out all the prereqs for the texas pharm schools that interest you.

Totally agree. He should visit the webpage. He will get tons of info that can address all his concerns

Nice way to slip in a link to your blog.

The only thing I have to add is to check the web site for the school you want to attend. If you poke around, you can find their College of Pharmacy section (or similar) and a list of Pre-Pharm Requirements.
Exactly, i actually checked it out

PharmCAS only has one Texas school that accepts their application, so they only have information about that school. http://www.pharmcas.org/collegesschools/schoolincarnatewordpage.htm

This website has more information, but may not be as accurate. http://www.uspharmd.com/school/Texas/

Look at these 2 links for PCAT information. http://pearsonassess.com/haiweb/Cul...nity/PostSecondary/Products/pcat/pcathome.htm and http://pharmdfortommyv.blogspot.com/2009/05/pcat-preparation.html

thanks, what is a good website for all pharmacy school requirements.
