Hello, I have finally received an II haha. I'm trying to gauge how long it would take for me to prep for an interview. I hope to interview in about 2 weeks and am wondering if that's a good enough time. Any interview tips are much appreciated as well! 🙂 thanks all.

Adding to this, make sure to look over your application so when they do ask you about specifics, you know them! Also review any holes/red-flags in your application and be able to talk through them. Congrats by the way!

This is going to be very dependant on you.

I am a non-trad and comfortable speaking with others (Firefighter/EMS/ER for 12 years) and I found the interviews to be super easy and comfortable.
Be polite and proffesional and be comfortable speaking proffesionally. Often you will get behavioral questions.

-Know specific memories from your past like “a time you failed” “a time someone was hard on you” “a time you had to teach others” “a time you had to juggle many responsibilities”
Know a memory you are going to use and then end the story selling yourself through some strength. “I failed xyz story and learned “this” and “that”
Do not rehearse speeches or anything. You will sound like a robot.

This is all just the experiences I have lived this cycle going to my 4 interviews (canceled others after acceptance)
If it matter I have been accepted to all the schools I interviewed. (Waiting on news from my number one)

-Dont eat anything to bother your stomach the night before
-Have as clean of a look as possible and smile all day.
- I like to be 10 minutes earlier than early. (20+ mins)

I prepared for about 30 mins per interview, usually the night before by browsing their website.
