Im 15 so in 15 years I'd be done with med school and residences if everything goes well, however I've read/heard things about anasthesiologist getting paid less. I currently am tied between a few different careers, but the amount paid pushed me toward anesthesiology. But if there paid less it might not be worth the burden of med school and residency if I could make almost the same with just a masters degree for something else

Census is it will pay less (though likely medicine in general will pay less), and many on this board will tell you to only do it if you absolutely love it.

I'd say a reasonable estimate of the basement for anesthesia is 200k. Let's go worst case and say 150. Tell me what masters degree reliably gets you that?

Frankly, I'm not really sure what education is worth these days. If you will be spending more than 4 years in education beyond high school, make damn sure it pays.

You're 15, so I think anesthesiology is a little too distant and specific to really affect what you do now.

I suggest
- Do well in high school.
- Go to a good, public, in-state university. Do well. Avoid debt.

Revisit medical school vs other career options at that point. You don't need to major in anything in particular to keep the med school path open. The prerequisites fit into many science degrees, and can be added on to most non-science / non-biology degree programs without that much difficulty.

We have a pre-med forum that you may find more useful and currently relevant-to-you information.
