How much will these C's hurt me

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Dont sweat them. If you want to feel a bit more secure, come up with a reason why you had them so that you can explain them in your interviews. Otherwise, I would not worry at all about 2 C's.

Think about it this way... at least those 2 C's arent 2 W's

I think your GPAs are more important than individual classes so as long as your Science and cumulative GPA is strong, you should be fine

From a school's perspective, are W's worse than C's ?

Was going to ask this too.. I have 2 W's from when my husband was Army and I had to withdraw from 2 of my classes and the one class that the professor understood I needed to leave early and let me take the final EARLY, I have a C in >.> By the time I am applying for dental school it will have been far in the past, but I'd hate for it to harm my app.

I will be applying next cycle, with a 3.5 and 2 C+'s from Jr. year (one is from an epistimology course, and another is from immunology). im wondering how badly these C's are going to hurt me. i realize numerous other factors will be at work (ie. if my DAT is sick, it could make up for the C's). So my question would be, are there certain schools to which one shouldnt even apply if they have anything < A/B's. This site seems to be packed with 4.0s/20+'s, so maybe my growing insecurity is unwarranted.

i liken the hurt to be kicking on your left side, 11th or 12th rib.

I have 4 C's on my transcript and have received two interviews so far. Keep your head up!

my friend got accepted with 6 W's, so dont worry.

I had a C or C- I forget. But getting interviews lately. So be positive.
