How much do you think your score would drop if you didn't study for a week?

I guess the reason I ask this is that I think mine would drop probably by 20 points or so. It's sad that this knowledge leaves our minds so quickly.

Kind of a dumb question, but whatever.

Yeah I hear ya. I feel like after I put in the first week or two, my score probably wouldn't change much overall, because as I review/learn new stuff in a week, the old stuff leaves me pretty quickly. I could make a stupid pharm bolus/steady state analogy here, but I won't.

lol man. Crazy questions!

I'm trying to force my way through organ systems in FA right now. So blah. Doing 2 blocks of already done UWORLD questions a day, hoping that keeps me fresh. 😱

I wonder what the minimum amount of studying is necessary to keep your score stagnant for a week.

Hoping it is two blocks of WORLD, plus light reading of FA, with maybe a sprinkle of G'audio or margin notes on the side. :xf:

i think it depends.. on genetics (how good your short term memory is) and repetition.

for example, if you started 3 months ago and you read FA like 3 times cover to cover with Goljan, then you won't forget much, if any.. BUT if you started a month ago and read FA only once with Goljan, then you might forget a quarter of the stuff....

Lol, wait until you're done with the test... I did mine 24 days ago and whilst enjoying my short vacation, my gosh, I think I've forgotten half of what I knew walking into the exam. I have a feeling I'm going to be drawing some pretty serious blanks the first month of clerkships.
