When usually reviewing my questions I noticed a trend of some habits I do that lead me to choosing an incorrect answer.
I'd really like to break these habits so I'm just gonna write them out on the post. Hopefully you guys can share yours as well.

1) Buzz words. Hate using them. Especially when low on time!

2) Not reading the whole question!
Great example -> Question asked electrolyte balance for Aldosterone. Glanced over to the answer choices and quickly choose an answer.
Got it wrong. Question asked for urine electrolytes. I choose serum electrolytes.

3) Pace! Got to establish a self timer in my head. If i dont know it... choose something and move on. Otherwise I'll make mistakes from 1) and 2) to catch up.

4) Choosing the answer choice...."I have no idea what this is so this must be the answer"--> Sometimes I get it right sometimes i dont. I need to make sure by canceling ALL the other choices out first before going to the one I've never heard of.

5) Reading all the answer choices. A lot of times the answer choice B will be "this is kind of right" and i mark it without reading the other choices. Later realizing answer choice E "was the best choice".

These are just a few trap doors I fall into while practicing questions. I hope i can hear everyones as well!!

Or wasting too much time reading a long question. Sometimes glancing over the last sentence in a long passage can be helpful. The last sentence can be a question of its own right completely not requiring any info from the passage. I feel like this happens when the question stems dwells into describing symptoms of a disease that's already obvious.
