You're likely to end up with a lot of gingival recession and class V abrasion lesions, especially over the canines & premolars where brushing force can tend to be heaviest--time to bust out some glass ionomer.shizzleDDS said:Isn't it actually more harmful to your teeth to brush so often?
Polls are fun
just once (morning), but do the whole regimen: brush, floss, tongue scraper, flouride mouthrinse.
It depends on an individual's dental health condition. Dentists advice to brush teeth twice in a day, I personally brush my teeth thrice in a day to remove tiny food particles.
Only brushing teeth can not take proper care of your overall oral health. Along with brushing we need to floss teeth and gum on daily basis.
1. Use soft bristled tooth brush.
2. Use fluoride toothpaste to prevent tooth decay.
3. Floss teeth regularly.
4. Use mouthwash.
I hope this information will surely help you to maintain a good oral health.

I floss and brush after each meal.
I do two real brushes morning and night. In the middle of the day, I do light brush just to get rid of food particles and floss as well.

An old, but not so goody thread. Asking how often to brush teeth is like asking how often one should wash hands.
I brush twice, and floss once. (Sometimes more if I've eaten something that makes me have) I don't want to change my routine, since I'm 25 years old and I still have never had a cavity!
Brush twice, no flossing. Making a good case for gingivitis+ cavities for my classmates
Brush 2x a day
Once every couple of weeks.....WHY DOES THIS EXIST -_____-
