I have had the same message "decision pending." When did it change for the rest of you guys?

For me, when I got the email with my ID and pine telling me that they recieved my app; I went to the website wo check my app and it said invited for an interview. I recieved an interview invite the next morning. So, mine never said descision pending. BTW; 22P MCAT and 3.1 overall, 3.18 sci (strong upward trend for 4 semesters)

Medmom--You just confirm that DO schools really look for quality applicants..and when i say quality, i mean deeper than just numbers, congratulations to you!

I strongly considered WVSOM cuz I like their program, and my numbers are higher than their averages, yet I am "decision deferred". I hope to eventually get the chance to interview there. Good luck to you and congrats again for making your application competitive in ways other than just leaning on "high numbers".

**I say all this to you with a tone of jealousy...can you sense it?** 👍 😉

Did anyone have the decision pending at the status page?

I believe decision pending just means that they're deciding on whether to accept you or not. Their decision for acceptance is pending on your interview.

This is how my status page looks.

Decision pending is when they're deciding. They update their status page regularly. I'd say every other day if not daily. :luck:

Mine is nowhere near that complex for WVSOM. Mine just says
Applicant Status
Welcome (my name)
In Process-Decision Pending

I guess since it's Friday, they won't update over the weekend. Fingers crossed... and :luck: :luck: to everyone also waiting.

I have mine scheduled for a monday, but am going to try and switch it because I have an exam that day.

three more days till my interview! 😱

Does anyone have any suggestions for preparation? Any reading material I should go over?

🙂

Well, I was able to change my interview date to 10/30 which is a monday, which is what I wanted, so i'm very happy now.
