I'm 26.

what do you mean fly? i take it you mean i'm young eh? i started in the british system (in kenya), and they begin early. didn't have a 5th grade education, so that bought me a year. other than that, i've been with this class since the 6th grade. though its amazing how few people my age take the mcats, i would have thought there are more; i'm in the same percentile as the above 40 crowd. hah, i think thats the explanation. have fun at penn! hope to see you there in a year.

I'm 29. My mom started med school at 28. I don't think it's age that matters so much as experience and interest. I've met some 19 and 20 year olds with more medical experience than I would have thought possible. It's all good. I just hope that people who are applying right out of college have taken the time to experience the world and not just the world of medicine.

OPM encountered a server problem due to new security software that was installed.... they're working on it but some of the necessary folks aren't around so there's no ETA for a fix yet. Good timing for me - I've got Step One the end of this week and should *not* be mucking around on bb's!

I'm 21 starting medical school in August, applied and took the MCAT when I was 20. I have to say though I was the youngest person at all of my interviews, which felt weird at times.
