That's better. Okay please vote again, and my apologies.

I am the youngest guy in my program by far. Is anyone else in this situation? Just wondering.

I am willing to bet that every program has one of those...
The youngest guy in their program.. oh wait unless they have a younger girl.
Nahh they can still have both.

I know of a number of people who went to 6 year med school/college so they were relatively young finishing their residency/fellowship..

Can you adjust this poll to accommodate those aged between 27 and 28, 30 and 31 and so on.

How can you be between those ages? are you 27 and one half?
What are you 3 and a half?

You are 27 untill you turn 28, you are 30 untill you turn 31.

Quick question. Do you want us to use our age after our first fellowship or after our third fellowship? Just kidding. But no, really.

I'm thinking around 52. 😀 So why isn't there an over 50 answer choice? :meanie:

Yeah, well I'm thinking about just doing fellowships until I die.

Oh and yes you are 27 up until the day you turned 28, 30 until you turn 31, and so on.

The two most common groups can easily be explained by the fact that if you got straight through HS-College-medical school-5/6 years residency you'll be 31-33.

If you take a year or two off or do a MD/PhD with everything else straight through you will be 34-37.

You gotta be a doogie type to get get in the under 25. I know a woman who started med school at the age of 18, had she gone into path and did AP only she could have perhaps finished under 25.

I know a woman who applied to our local med school at age 19 with a 4.0 but wasn't accepted because they thought she was too young. She had to go to a lower-tier med school.

Not if you were born after July 1st, you would still be 30yrs or under.:luck:

Did the votes before this poll was edited get scrapped? Should we then vote again?

psssst...come to Boston 😉

 . There's no way they would let TWO people from no-name ****ty med schools into the BWH program. I would consider it though if Fletcher personally called me in the next week and said what a great talk we had (ie him letting loose a lot of profanities in a short period of time and me laughing my ass off) and that I was one of the most talented and coveted applicants he had ever seen (and also that I was the second coming of a non-deceased Rosai). Then I might think about it.

If you can vote then your vote hasn't been counted.
This isn't Chicago, you can't vote more than once, the system actually doesn't let you.

Hmm. Let's see: You're willing to think about BWH if a guy who has never completed any US residency calls you, because he thinks you're like a guy who was fired from MSKCC and now works at a semi-obscure research institute in Milan, Italy? hmm....

It was said tongue-in-cheek Maybe I should write that in big bold letters in my original post. Holy hell. What's with this f'in place anymore.

Maybe PathOne should have put that in bold, since the  was apparently not enough.
