Well, here we go the first non pharmacy related in a looong time. How physically fit you are dear pre-pharmers?

I have no physical stamina. If you ask me to run, I can probably run at 15-18 mph for like 7 seconds before running out of gas.

Mine is really low also though, I am trying to improve it cause I wanna run 5k marathon in my town next year (Yeah, let's hope I will have enough stamina by then:scared:)

The gym in my 2nd..wait 3rd home.. (2nd being the library..HAHha)

I am totally out of shape, but that's why I am applying to pharmacy schools. With the disproportionate female:male ratio, the ladies won't have much choices. :meanie:

During school, I played basketball for about 3 hours, 4 days a week. I was able to run around without resting for about 75% of the game.

Nowadays...I can barely run one suicide without feeling a bit tired.

I am actually now in a best shape I have been in 3 years or may be even more.I actually go to the gym several times a week.

I agree it's hard to fit the gym in. I usually go like at 5 am or 10-12 at night.

18 mph for 7 seconds? You know the world record holder can only run ~23 mph for about 10 seconds, right?

Loool believe me they come in even bigger sizes you don't wanna to be there.:meanie:

I hope not, it was hard enough finding a xl for the bio lab coats at the bookstore lol. But don't blame me, blame Panda Express...
😀

I could probably wrestle a bear now... considering that I am putting more weight on and going to the gym often. Lol. Nah just kidding, I think I am pretty damn good looking though!

I work out on a daily basis mainly out of boredom. When school starts in the fall, time to put on the lbs.

I haven't had Panda Express in 4 months now.

Nice, lol. I figured I'll still eat it, but instead of getting the noodles, I'll stick to the rice, haha.
To the op: I usually put on lbs during the winter session because that's when it's time to hibernate!

I've got a max 38' vertical. How fit is that?

Too bad Lane Bryant or Fusion Bug doesn't sell em

Deceptively thin. I sit on my butt all day eating junkfood and waiting for my metabolism to catch up to me. I park on the opposite side of campus as my classes to force myself to exercise. Also a good method of dehydration, considering it's been 90-100 degrees. That's all I got.

If you're a guy that's normal thing, but if you're a girl woooww I am jealous.

I consider myself to be in pretty good shape. I play basketball a couple times a week for a couple of hours and I also lift weights at the gym 5-6 times a week.

I used to work out an hour and a half every other day. But, I've ran a total of 7 miles in three different runs since I got out of the Navy last August. I do swim a bit though. Kinda sucks in the winter though, it's cold.

I'm horribly unfit. The last time I ran a mile was 2 years ago, and it took me over 14 minutes. I was among the last to finish; others took between 6 and 10 minutes. Sad.

However, I am skinny. Just beginning to put on weight around my belly, but if I hold my breath I can deceive myself into seeing my abs in the mirror. And my waist is still 28 inches. I have also weighed 143 lbs since 2 years ago, and I haven't gained a single pound since.

A few years ago I went through a Law Enforcement Academy. Sit-ups, pushups, 5 mile runs etc. Almost two years ago I got married and have slowly been letting go. 😳 Now I'm changing careers and have noticed that I don't have the excerice routine anymore. Now I can't run a mile without being completely out of breath.. My wife cooks too good and I don't exercise like I used to.

After finishing my undergrad last year, I was kind of overweight at 5'8"/190lbs (damn fast food chains all around campus). Over the past several months I've been working out and have lost 40 lbs. I'm in the best shape of my life now, but it's been a pain in the ass having to buy new clothes since I can't fit in any of my old stuff anymore. 😛

congrats on the weight loss! I know how hard it is to lose. I am always trying to lose 🙄

That's where I am trying to get 150-145 pounds Yeah, hopefully by next spring. Congrats on that!!!

5'11/160lbs. I work out about 3 times a week. I'd say i'm in an okay state, but I'm no where what I was 3yrs ago.🙁 I wish my college had an intramural track team. haha, that would be awesome.

I'm 5'7 and 120 lbs, I look physically fit because I eat very healthy, but I don't have any muscles. I can't run either because of my leg injury. Pray for me pre-pharmies, I might have a knee surgery very soon and might be unable to walk for a while.

Im 6'0 and i can barely touch my toes, let alone the rim😡

Eh I'm alright strengthwise since I lift a lot, but I'm not in too good of cardio shape. I could probably run a 7:30-7:45 mile, but I really suck at sprinting.

I can run a fast mile, swim, and last year I did the MS150 bike ride. I run races all the time and also dance and do cheerleading. I lift weights, do yoga, and always try new exercises.

Not bad for a P3 girl, huh?

I consider myself to be pretty athletic. I swam all 4 years in high school and played lacrosse in my college club team last semester. I try to weight lift 3 days a week and run twice a week. I also have an extremely high metabolism and I've been trying to gain muscle weight. Hasn't really worked though lol

Same here. Although I do squats, lift weights or run once or twice a week.

I'm fit enough to sit in front of a computer all day rummaging through hundreds of SDN threads 😀

i cycle about 150 miles a week~ =] i commute from sacramento to davis at least 3 times a week to save gas hahha

I'm insanely fit in fact I just finished Billy's Boot Camp.

I'm in pretty good shape, I try to make an effort to lift at least three times a week and run maybe once, I'd much rather lift than run though.

I'm ex-military so lets just say I HATE EXERCISING LOL After being forced to exercise for five years I love the fact that I can get up in the morning and not do a single push up, sit up or have to run. My belly is starting to see the effects too LOL

I'm in pretty good shape. It helps attract mates.

I'm a total couch potato. A few years ago I did get motivated enough to run a marathon (26.2 miles) but now I'm back on the couch. I feel guilty about not running anymore but I live near Phoenix and saying it is hellishly hot here is an understatement. It is hard to get motivated when it is already 90 when you wake up in the morning.
