how physically taxing is being a dentist (GP)?
do you go home every day with a sore back, neck and hands?
i know of a dentist who had a stress fracture in two of her cervical vertebrae, simply from leaning over patients all day long.
i also remember getting my impacted wisdom teeth taken out, and seeing my dentist literally grabbing onto my chair with his free hand to get some leverage, and seeing the obvious look of physical strain on his face as he tried to extract a tooth (or should i say chunks of tooth) that would not budge.
is this a profession that you could physically manage to do to the age of 60?
