Pathologists make a whole lot of money too. Plus the prestige of radiology is lost on most people since they think you are a rad tech.

I have 2 cousins who are rad techs. Their mom tells people that they're radiologists.

Sounds like a problem I've faced in IT - I have a grad degree in computer science, but basically I'm clubbed in the same category as someone who did a 2 month diploma in "Using MS office" ----- we're both in "computers"

For some reason, calling a rad-tech a radiologist infuriates me!!! 🙂 you should speak to your aunt!

Honestly, I don't really think anyone these days really cares what another person does for a living.

Before you decided to become an MD did you ponder how important someone was? I didn't. I don't really care today either.
