I just came into posession one of those "Complete Book of Medical Schools" by the Princeton Review. Just wondering how accurate the information is?
I mean i have an MSAR and all, but the PR one seems to provide better statistical data to actually figure out which schools to apply to. Ironically, the entry for Johns Hopkin's says that the average GPA was 3.0.....which does not make me feel any better..haha. I believe that is an error.
Anyway, having said all that, what are you guys basing the stats on? Are you just going for which schools are closest to you? Or actually sending in by stats? My goal right now is to make a list of schools that provide me with a good mix of safety and dream schools. Then i'm going to cut it down further in regards to places where i would like to go (live).
