I was just wondering... when schools compare different students' DAT scores, do they see the percentiles too? If so, do they look at the percentiles for that whole year? For example, since I took my test in 2007, would they look at the frequency table that just came out for 2007, or would they look at the percentiles that came were printed out with my scores after I took the test? I tried to search for this, but couldn't find anything, so sorry if this has been asked before!

Since percentiles vary from subgroup to subgroup they are virtually of no value. The only numbers that would of interest are the scores. You can pretty much bet that they are well versed with the means and with the percentile distribution of the group as a whole.

The printout that I saw at my nyu interview did not have any percentile's on it.

I dont understand why all DAT have different questions its unfair. Each day there should be different questions but on a given day every DAT should be the same. This way grades can be compared fairly.
