I've already been accepted to a DPT school but I only just now finished the last pre-req course that I needed. Although the course is listed on my PTCAS profile as in progress( as I inputted during the last AU), the grade is not in yet. I have not received an email about a final Academic Update before this application cycle is over which is how I assume the school would get my grade for that last course. Am I wrong about this process? How should the DPT school I'm starting this summer receive my grade for this last course? Will there be an AU this month, or in June? or do I have to send the final transcript directly to the school? FYI, I haven't received the grade yet as the last day of class was only a couple of days ago. I'm sure if I didn't have to send it through PTCAS and went directly from my undergrad to the DPT school it should be faster but not sure if PTCAS is required or not.

My program had me send in official transcripts directly to the university I began classes.

This is what I'll have to do too. I think sending in the official transcript (final) is the only way, because I believe there's only one AU period (opening in December and closing mid-February).

Oh okay so there won't be another AU before this cycle ends. I'll send the transcript directly to the school then and not to PTCAS.

Yes, the Academic Update was only the one time. My PT coordinator gave specific directions to send her official transcripts after I completed my last pre-reqs. I'm sure that is the safest course of action, but you could always email or call to confirm.

Yup, only the one AU..........you will need to provide a final transcript before you start your program. Each school has their own procedure as to who and how it gets there. Good luck and congrats on your acceptance.
