My learning style is the Verbal (Linguistic) Learning Style. I took multiple learning style quizzes and this describes me perfectly. I have found limited resources on this specific style. any advice on the best way to structure the way I study based on this style would be appreciated.

I think regardless of anyone's learning style, repetition and active recall are the most important goals.

In your case, first you should probably "chunk" out your lectures/lessons into discrete topics. Then, make questions based on each topic or chunk -- this sets you up for active recall. Force yourself to go over it again and again in the way that is congruent to your learning style -- or repetition.

In this case, you may want to verbally recite answers to your questions, or maybe even write it down in your own terms. Have an answer key to match it up so you can make sure you got everything you wanted out there, and you have an objective criteria to measure your performance.

I am guessing you are an auditory learner. Active learning will always be a must but your form of active learning will be with the use of words. One tip is to restating concepts in your own words. I would suggest working at home or in a room without people present and speaking out loud this information in your own way. Another tip is listening to podcast or recorded lectures again when certain material is difficult to pick up when reading (don't go over the entire lecture). For words that are difficult to remember break them down into syllables. For example, the drug albendazole which is used for a group of parasites. You can break this word down into al-ben-daz-ole (Al bend that's all). Since I am actually a visual learner, it helps me to think of a person name Al that is bending to touch is feet and stops there (that's all).

There are probably others I have not thought of but keep looking I am sure you will find something.
