Hi, I just got my second MCAT back yesterday. I first did the MCAT in 2017 and got a 513 with section scores 127/130/125/131. My 2019 score was 518 with section scores 130/129/130/129. Obviously super jazzed about the score jump, but I was wondering if my prior low score should make me cautious about applying to competitive programs like Case Western Reserve, Boston University, University of Southern California, and Cornell? Would the positive trend compensate? I hear some schools average scores, and I'm wondering if my poor science showing in 2017 will hold me back.
Thanks in advance.
