How soon can I get an interview?

My application went out very late, UCONN emailed me to tell me my application was received and complete Thursday 9/19. I checked the AADSAS website last night, and under the "decisions" section it said next to UCONN "invited for interview" 9/20. Is it possible that they made a decision that quickly? One day after receiving my app? I was not even expecting to see anything in this section at all.

Also, if anyone has any idea, do you think there is any chance I will get an interview before December? I've read that before December is good, but after probably means you'll be wait-listed. Not sure if that is true.

Call the school to see if it's actually an interview.

Thanks for your quick responses guys. They actually emailed me shortly after starting this thread and I set up my interview for November 8th! So excited!
