"How to Ace Calculus: The Streetwise Guide"?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I bought it when I was taking calculus I. It does a good job of giving you the basic concepts; however, the basic concepts weren't the hard part about my calculus class. The hard part was the annoying problems. So, in this regard, the guide was not very helpful. I also found that the book tried too hard to be cute and funny, which only annoyed me because I was already irritable from my calculus homework.

My suggestion is to find a huge book of problems and solutions, and then just practice problems in the areas that you have trouble with. Tutoring is also a great option if you don't have too much pride.

Good luck!
