How to be in the first batch?

I've submitted my AADSAS weeks ago and AADSAS HAS "received" everything. all my supplemental fees have been sent and applocations too.

is there something im missing?

I thought you only send the supplement payment when the schools contact you. I am applying 16 schools and 11 of them are like that.

Lucky! All of my schools,except one, said to pay their supplementary fee when I submit AADSAS.

The school websites. I noticed that AADSAS sometimes don't accurately portray what the schools want. I guess I just picked all the "expensive" ones 😛

From my understanding, schools can "view" your electronic application once you e-submit. Hard official copies are sent from AADSAS to respective dental schools starting with the 1st batch, etc. It's my guess that UK just saw that you selected your application to be sent there and that is why they are contacting you, not that 1st batch mailing has begun.

i called the aadsas today and they said that because of the large volume of applications, my app isn't guaranteed to be send out in the first batch even though my application has been vefified :S

That seems odd.. They are saying b\c there are so many applicants applying early that they may not be able to send them all out the 1st batch?

wow this frustrates me. ppl worked their assses off to finish everything by June and this is what they say? they're getting paid thousands and in returns, cant even do us students a small favor?
