Is it possible to retake the DAT exam for the fourth time? If so, how?
Is it possible to retake the DAT exam for the fourth time? If so, how?
no...its a rule now...you can only take dat for 3 times!
No you can request permission to take the DAT after a 3rd take. Check the ADA's website regarding this issue. I don't recall what you must submit in order to be granted an additional attempt.
The ADA website states that:
Requests for additional testing must be submitted in writing to the Department of Testing Services and must include evidence of current (within the previous 18 months) intent to apply to dental school. Acceptable forms of evidence include:

.A copy of a completed and submitted application to dental school.

.A letter of rejection from a dental school.

.A letter from a dental school admissions officer encouraging you to retest or reapply.

I took the DAT for a 4th time, and recieved two acceptances this year. I just had a letter from a school stating they would like me to retake the DAT and they rejected me due to the poor score on the DAT. Thanks
