Hello,
I am a first year, well a second year student now. I am not studying any this summer, but I have a few questions.
1. Is there a study timetable or plan, that we can use for self-study?
2. How much Osteopathic Treatments are there on the exam? I did practice questions and found that osteopathic questions are relating to diagnosis, such as sacral torsions and such.
3. I am bad with drugs, is there a high yield list of drugs available?

TIA

It's a terrible test. Good luck studying because the questions may be so poorly constructed that it won't matter how you prepare. That said, attack it like you would USMLE (assuming you're taking both, which you should, btw):

1. Many create their own. There is a site called Cramfighter.com that costs about $90 or so and makes you a great schedule based on the resources you choose. I recommend it.
2. There are a few, but they are easy. Often they involve media
3. Every drug in FA is fair game. Stick to that. If you need it to be concise, buy the Lippincott pharm cards and study them when you're bored.

Additionally, I'd recommend the following:
1. Know your reportable diseases (ie, which ones have to be reported to the CDC)
2. Know modes of inheritance for every disease, if you can
3. Know Neuro
4. Know Anatomy

Get sketchymedical. They just rolled out a sketchy pharm section and I crammed it for 2 weeks before the USMLE and it was a lifesaver. I hate pharm so I know how you feel.

How much MSK on COMLEX 1 is not in FA?? Any suggestions would be great. Its barely anything in FA, and they say its a higher yield topic over cardio. Any suggestions would be great!

COMLEX 1 has a lot of MSK. Basically, every nerve, muscle, dermatome, associated injuries, and diseases are all fair game. I thought Saverese and Kaplan OMM book were pretty helpful for me.
