Yes, math is usually included in science GPA...and you should strive for a 4.0, but you should be "safe" with a 3.5+

Math or any "hard" science. Hard does not mean difficult, but one that is pretty strict with its descriptions in terms of using mathematical expressions. Ex: physics, math, ecology (populations, HW, etc.), most biological sciences, chemistry.. but NOT philosophy, religion, or similar social sciences.
