I went to two colleges and the credit weights are totally different. The first school has double the credits of my second and I don't know if I should change the credits or keep them the same. Does anyone know the correct way to calculate the GPA in this situation? Thank you for your help!

Edit: To clarify, classes in the first school have double the credits for their equivalent at the second school.

Convert it to one or the other and it should proportionally remain the same... I think. Do you mean that at your first school something like Biology would be 6 credits and in second school it would be 3?

The first school worked on a trimester system, while the second works on a semester system. However, when you add the total credits of the class sequence, you end up with twice credits at the first school. It's really annoying.
