I was wondering... how do you calculate your science gpa? I'm a biomedical engineering major, so basically... do ALL my biomed classes factor into the science gpa?? Even though they may be more design related than science related?? And what about math classes? :scared:

It seems that the biggest factor in determining what goes into the science gpa is the department that offers the course. Math and engineering courses are counted in the science gpa (math for certain and I think eng. is too). Physics/Bio/Chem/Math/Eng department courses are in. There is some grey area too, my "Philosophy of Probability" course counted toward sci. gpa because it satisfied my university's quantitative reasoning req.

hahaha then i guess my overall gpa and science gpa would be practically the same... considering i haven't really taken very many non-science/math/engineering courses.
