Greetings

Apologies for intruding into your forum but I am hoping someone can help me.

My insurance offers multiple crown options. Assuming money is not an object, are there studies to indicate which one is better or preferred?

Here are my choice:

3/4 porcelain/ceramic
High Noble Metal (Metal Colored)
porcelain fused to predominantly base metal
Porcelain
porcelain fused to noble metal

I haven't asked my dentist yet as I like to educate myself beforehand.
Thanks.

I would just choose a pin retained 7 surface silver mercury amalgam. They last forever, way better then those crown things.

Let me handle this one. This is not a forum for soliciting direct advice like that. That is a conversation for you and your dentist to have.
